Get to Know Dr Marlene Manning, DDS

Dr. Manning was raised in California and developed her passion for dentistry after witnessing her mother experience numerous dental challenges. She earned her undergraduate degree in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 2019 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in May 2026.

She gained experience through dental shadowing, volunteering, and working as a dental assistant and manager at clinics serving underserved communities in San Diego. She also participated in international humanitarian trips, strengthening her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Manning enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, exploring new cuisines and cultures, and staying active through fitness.
